World Cup is officially over.
Oh man, I stayed up to watch the match and throughout the whole day I was halfway in the land of Nod.
Then once I got home I slept for like 2 hours.
*Snore*

The match was not quite what you would expect.
Okay, so Italy was the predicted winner, but there were many twists in the match.
Like, as everyone should know by now (unless you lived under a rock and had no friends), Zidane did a header to this Materazzi person (who scored Italy's goal, I think).

OUCH.

The commentator was saying something like "It's a bad, bad memory to leave on someone's tummy." Haha, LOL.
But I think Materrazi provoked Zidane, you see, there was this part of the video where he was like guarding Zidane, then Zidane was like "Hey, shoo!" (or something), then Materazzi was like showing this mocking face and probably saying something like "Ooh, you're old and bald and you'll be LOSING!! Muahahahaha.".
And then, Zidane went preparing for his header, then "Wham!", he totally slammed into that guy's chest.
Some people say that Materazzi provoked Zidane with a racial slur.
Not very nice.

Anyway, he still won the Best Player Award.

Oh, and after the Italian won, there was this guy, number 9 or something, who stripped down to his briefs.
It was white.
Yuck.

Zidane is really inspirational-- When in doubt, use your head.
That memory will go down in the History of France Football.
