Hi there, people!
I'm back!
Ever since I came back from China I wanted to blog. Too bad my com was always screwed up.
Anyway, I've been China-ed!
That means:
I've been to
-Shanghai tan3 to see the nice view, on a cool December night
-pearl shops, to see people get sweet talked into buying freshwater pearls
-jade shops, to witness people getting honeyed into giving up their cash
-silk shops, to buy silk blankets
-various similar shopping streets to get jostled by the crowd, and get followed by creepy fake LV sellers
-a couple of acrobat performances
-the Industrial Park, which wasn't as hyped up as it was supposed to be
-foot massage cum medical consultancy places selling medicine at exhorbitant prices
But it was fun. The tour group was, um, young. Yeah, there were like 13 people below the age of 19 and the youngest was this 6 year old kid named Jelly. Yeah, cool name.
So it was basically a kid tour. Not that I'm a kid. :D
But seeing all those little tots run around made me feel infinitesmally old. Wonder how the 60 year old auntie felt.
Oh, yeah, and the tour guide looked like the TV showhost/DJ Chen Jian Bing/Bin. Oh well.
Ahh, the people you meet, the places you go. Yeah, I like tour groups.
