HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
MAY THE CHERUBS BLESS YOUR LOVE LIFE WITH THEIR SHINY GOLDEN LOVE ARROWS AND MAY YOU SNAG A LOVELY YONG MAN (OR TEACHER, IN JIAMIN'S CASE) ON THIS HIGHLY COMMERCIALISED, SLIGHTLY CHEESY DAY FULL OF SMILING COUPLES, CRYING SINGLES (OR SINGLES WHO ARE PLOTTING DEADLY REVENGE PLANS) AND RICHER FLORISTS!
AND NO, IT SHALL NOT BE CALLED THE CORNY AND RATHER CHEESY 'FRIENDSHIP DAY'.
But hey, I really have nothing against V-day. I mean, who doesn't love an over-glorified day for lovers? You get this warm, fuzzy feeling when someone wishes you a hapy valentine's day, or gives you those nice sweeties, but in the latter's case, the warm fuzzy feeling may be heart burn.
Of course, I'm pretty sure there is a deeper, insightful meaning to this day. You show your appreciation for the people around you, and give them little tokens to show your, er, friendship love for them.
But really, I don't get the point of Angel and Mortal Game(c). Okay, so maybe it's a way to bond and get to know other people, and so as to make sure that everyone gets a little something, but that is only if you have great angels/mortals. Poor, poor Leanne. But I know my postcard and chupa-chup(c) made your day, huh?
This Valentine's Day seemed a little different. For one thing, it is my first Valentine's in the new school compound, and I just don't feel the love (yeah, baby, yeah), and also, I spent the schoolbus ride to school chionging out postcards to [the great people], then, I spent an hour helping the CSC booth while chionging out my GP journal entry, then, in the afternoon, I spent 45 minutes chionging out my Lit essay. (THANKS FOR WAITING!!)
What a day. But I really pity those poor souls hosting the Nanking students (who are REALLY fond of the song long2 de4 chuan2 ren2, seriously, Monday, some were singing it kind of off-ish in front of the drink stall, then today, one was playing the tune kind of wrong-ish on the piano), I wonder how they manage all the homework and stress without going nuts and pulling out all their hair. KEEP GOING PEOPLE, IT'S ONLY TWO MORE DAYS!!!
So, back to Valentine's Day, here's a list of really unique gifts.
1. Soke May's Rubik's Cube
It ranks number one on my list of er, special gifts, as it really is, er, creative and different. Thank you for thinking so highly of me, but I really cannot solve it. You can stick to nail varnish next time (JUST KIDDING.).
2. Yunxuan's Divine Postcard
Wow, a letter from above!! I guess it really is unique, I mean, talk about divine intervention! But thanks anyway, Yunxuan the Divine messenger.
3. Leanne's Peace keychain
Thank you, thank you!! Wow, you know I am the PEACE MESSENGER huh? Thank you for suppoting my stand against evil and unfairness and hierarchy in this dark, dark world. Okay, that sounds really wrong.
4. Yingyu's nice pouch
It's a really nice pouch!! But the b-r-a-n-d-e-d plastic bag from sins(c) you presented to the ever honoured Jiamin was really nice too, Jiamin was haolianing in front of us throughout the MRT trip home.
5. Amelia's nice V thing
She's probably not reading this, but I'm really happy I got something from the ex-choir batch!! And it's a really cool present and all. THANKS!!
Okay, that is the top 5 list of unique (or weird) V-day presents which I cannot help but appreciate and love (aww...).
But, thanks to the rest too!! Like Jiamin, who so very nicely gave me sweets! Which you all don't have!!! HAHAHAHAHA.
So, in the end, we have all succumbed to the commercial factor of V-day, and have inevitably come out broke and laden in debts (but I have paid back the Lit Fund! I am still, to a certain extent, a great and responsible Lit Rep), but we did come out of it happier and more loved (I guess). Therefore, once again, HAPPY (REALLY EXPENSIVE) VALENTINE'S DAY!!

Time really flies huh?
I mean, not only does it fly, it accelerates and increases to approximately the speed of light. Er, okay, I don't take physics.
But anyway, it's already one-sixth of the year. Wow. Before we know it, it would be the 'A's. Damn.
Just like how it seems like it was just yesterday that we received our PSLE results, all fresh-faced and eager (HAHA). So anyway, with a rather dismal score, I got into DHS.
The 2 two lower sec years seemed to just zoom past. So did Sec three and four. People really change a lot, huh. It takes such a short time fo previous good friends to change so much that after a few years, you just seem like a couple of strangers. And maybe you change so much too that, sometimes, it just doesn't work out.
Scary huh? I mean, who knows what it would be like three years down the (long, forbidding) road? Would we still be friends? Or would we be so busy with our lives that we forget about all the times we had? Would we still click, or would we become familiar strangers, those who say 'hi' to each other (or maybe even not) and then walk away?
Gosh, I sound so emo.
Must be too mush GP.
But seriously, I cannot imagine hanging out with a totally different group of people after being so accustomed to you guys.
AND YOU GUYS ROCK.Valentine's Day is coming (no, I shall not call it Friendship Day, it sounds so corny), and well, as I am so totally broke and have no cash (gimmegimme!!), I shall say here:
I LOVE YOU GUYS YOU ALL SO TOTALLY ROCK MY LIFE!!!!!'kay, money saved!! Kiddin'.
Wow, I took about five minutes to type the above sentence. My laptop got the sticky keys, quite fun, lol. Shift ctrl ctrl ctrl ctrl ctrl. Jrrnw dgdZ <--- that was 'Cool, huh?' in sticky keys.
Okay, okay, I'm boliao.
But hey, anything beats Chemistry Redox Tutorial. Seriously, it sucks.
Half of the time I have no idea how to do
half equations. Er, haha.
So, HCL tomorrow. FUN, FUN, FUN!! I CAN'T WAIT.
* *
Here's a corny joke:
Patient: Doctor, doctor, there're pus filled corns on my feet!
What should I do?
Doctor: Let's pop corns!
Funny right? Beats the Cinderella one.
Okay, time for tutorial.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Sorry.

Went to ACSI today.
Freaking big.
They have swimming complexes, according to Yunxuan.
Their hostels look like condominiums.
Their canteen looks like some high class food court.
And the LT. Looks more like some, er, I dunno, big University LT?
Not that I've actually seen a University LT.
Oh well.
Enough of the boring stuff.
We got some free game which is quite, erm, wonky.
So anyway, will we get discounts when we dine at Sakae Sushi?
You know the song The Rainbow Connection? I have the score leh!! From choir. But I think I lost the score.. Hmm. But it's such a whimsical song. Too bad when we sang it, it sounded kiddy and fake. Tells you about the choir eh? Okay, okay, I'm too harsh.
Anyone wants to watch choir concert? It's at VCH!! I've NEVER performed their before. Lucky sheet. And I BET they are not going to wear the pink pouffe of a gown this year. Man, we are a sad bunch. Juniors have been asking me to go watch. I'm, er, interested. If anyone wants to go watch, tell me!! Can go with you. $12 I think.
No, I'm not a propaganda tool.

Hello, people.
My internet connection is screwy.
Tomorrow is Friday!! Thank __________ (insert being of choice).
At last.
I was slacking just now, and I was thinking about my life, so far.
No, it hadn't been a breeze, not really, but it was great.
I'm in a rather reflective mood today, I guess.
But really, I can't think of any other way I would have rather my life turned out to be.
I love my life. Relatively, and yes, thank you for everything everyone has ever done for me.
:)
o_o Okay, enough for today.
