Hello people.
I have just done some research for the (stupid) PW PI.
I don't see the point, but hey, who am I to argue with SEAB?
So anyway, after doing lots of meaningless, mundane stuff (aka homework), I have decided to update!
That is, after I finished bloghopping (during my research for groundbreakers). A majority of the blogs mention how we were bloody no-lifers. Okay, maybe not bloody, but we are, generally, no-lifers. No, actually, we are NO-LIFERS, not no-lifers. We are NO-LIFERS in capital letters, that is.
I mean, our lives practically revolve around Maths Tutorial, Chem Tutorial and whatever-sad-subject-you-are-taking Tutorial. There should be something which exists other than tutorials and assignments and tests and exams, right? Okay, maybe there isn't. Like if we just stepped out of that little area of academics there would be, well, nothing.
Yeah right.
But come to think of it, our lives are merely a perversion of something like The Matrix (and no, I don't mean the Mathematical Concept). We are living in a sad little cave, obsessed with something, chasing after something blindly, and in the end we would just be like those poor mice/rats/hamsters who run around that little wheel frantically trying to get away from those ugly humans who are always peering at them. As in, we end up doing all those stuff for almost nothing.
LIFE IS SO BORING!
Okay, so some people do great things, start revolutions, make differences, and yes, education was probably great help to them, but seriously, have you seen a person saving the world with a GC? Okay, maybe you can save someone with your GC, like hitting a murderer on the head with it or something, but seriously, unless your ambtion is to be a mathematician or somthing really maths related (like, a maths teacher?), chances are you wouldn't need to know the formula for a circle 10 years down he road.
Or maybe the Earth would be invaded by aliens who hated mathematics and your only weapons would be those formulae and your GC. Cool, eh? But improbable.
Okay, I think I'm babbling baboonishly here, please bear with me.
So, back to academics. Chemistry is relatively important if you aspire to be a scientist, doctor, or whatever science-y job you want, maybe next time one of you would invent a cure for some disease and save the world.
But the rest of us would be wandering around aimlessly.
What's your ambition?
Study hard, be the top-scorer, get a great job, earn big bucks, then what?
- Die and leave all your hard-earned money to your greedy ass of a child?
- Die and donate all our money to charitable associations and let Durai-like people embezzle it?
- Go to Tibet (or somewhere) to help the poor (if you do that, do give me a call, I will honour you on my blog)
- Not die due to extensive technological advancements and live to a ripe old age of 500? Oh, and spend all your money on the way so you die penniless?
- Not die due to extensive technological advancements and live to a ripe old age of 500 with your greedy ass of a child cursing every minute of your living as it would beages before he gets his paws on the inheritance?
- Or, live happily, and die happily, accoplishing something along the course of your life.
Okay, I'm a hopeless pessimist. Sorry.
But enough about our lives. It's sad enough without me trying to speculate how you will waste it.
It is a bit extreme lar, maybe we will all end up happy.
But seriously, life is sooooo boring. Bone dry. Aimless.
Why can't we be pulled into some parallel world where we get to wield really cool swords or learn really cool magic or have some incredible power and then use those cool skills to destroy some evil lord/monster/king/boss (LOL) and save the world?
That would be fun.
Sorry, I've been playing too much games, reading too much fantasy.
But really, that would be cool.
If that would not happen, maybe we should just aim for being scientists and saving the world one disease at a time, or being a mathematician, and saving to world one theorem at a time (you can try. I don't know..), or being a writer, saving the world fictitiously, one universe at a time, or even a Vet, saving the world, one pet at a time.
Okay, back to reality.
Go do your tutorial, and by that I mean me, I should be doing those Chem and Maths Tutorials I have been procrastinating about for the whole week, and I should be doing my PI too. And that Econs Essay, and the Econs Case Study. aka All my Homework.
Oh well.
