BLOODY TESTIMONIALS.
Oh, wait, did I just type that out? What am I doing here in the dean of the night anyway? My bag is unpacked, I haven't done my Chem Tutorial, OH TO HECK WITH IT.
So anyway, like dear Yunxuan, whose blog I do not link to, I was busy with my testimonial.
The sad, dismal truth is, testimonials are basically an intricate set of lies you weave, and you cross your fingers and hope that the teacher does not push and pry and poke hard enough for the web of lies to disintegrate. Okay, maybe I'm the only sad liar who has to fabricate half truths to pull my testimonial through, but it is really irritating to BS your way through something--those of you who have done the GP class test will more or less know what I mean.
So anyway, are you craving for a laugh at my expense? Go on, read, and appreciate the hard work I go through to create this utterly hilarious piece of lousy testimonial.
"In terms of Language, __________ had produced good results. Being in the Bicultural Studies Programme, she had achieved ‘A’s in both
Bilingual Programme and Chinese Studies, thus proving her proficiency in both English and Chinese Language. _________ had also shown her presentation and communication skills through several class projects, such as the Mock Rally Speech for Geography or Chemistry Class
(form teacher teach chem mah!) Presentations."
"___________ also strongly demonstrates personal qualities such as being
reflective, compassion, creativity, far-sightedness, sensitivity and trustworthiness (basically everyone got these). She had worked well in groups, and had shown creativity during class projects and assignments. Also,
she hands in all assignments on time and diligently (a lie), and is
neat and meticulous in her work (another lie). During PCCG, Pastoral Care and Career Guidance, ______________shows her envisioning, when asked for her opinions on issues, and also during goal setting.
<--ROFL"
So anyway, TESTIMONIALS ARE A LOAD OF ___________ (enter word of choice).
But then again, I am sure there are those really hiong and pro people who *gasps!* write entirely true testimonials!! Well, boo to you, you don't get the experience of lying through your teeth (or fingers, but who cares?).
Okay, it's almost midnight. I'm going to sleep already. To hell with the unfinished homework and stuff. They can burn, BURN!!!!
Er, sorry, I am incoherent so late at night. (Or so early, I dunno, it's almost the next day already, half an hour more to May 4th)
